Scots, Tigers Play to Scoreless Affair

GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The College of Wooster women's soccer team opened its North Coast Athletic Conference season with a 0-0 draw against DePauw University on Saturday.

Since 2018, Wooster and DePauw have met four times and each game has resulted in extra time. Wooster is 2-0-2 in that span, which includes 2019's 1-0 double overtime win in the NCAC Tournament Championship.

It was Wooster's first draw of the season, moving them to 5-5-1 overall and 0-0-1 in the NCAC. DePauw moves to 1-5-2 on the year and 0-1-1 in the NCAC.

Wooster had an aggressive push late but could not get anything past DePauw keeper Emma St. John. Past the 80-minute mark, seven of Wooster's eight shots in that span were on target and saved.

Wooster keeper Kyra Stief was just as effective as she made three saves in the contest.

Wooster outshot DePauw 16-9 and held the corner kick advantage 6-3.

Wooster returns home for three consecutive games, starting Saturday when they host Ohio Wesleyan University.
