Lawrence, White, Wiley Named to NCAC All-Decade Team

Official NCAC release

The North Coast Athletic Conference is celebrating its 40th playing season by selecting All-Decade teams in all 23 championship sports, and The College of Wooster had three individuals make the cut in women's soccer – Emma Lawrence '19, Erica White '19 and Miura Wiley '22.

Student-athletes that competed in the NCAC between the 2013-14 and the 2022-23 seasons who earned Player of the Year honors or who earned a minimum of three all-NCAC first-team nods during this time were named to the team.

Lawrence and White shared Player of the Year honors in 2018 with Lawrence being named the Defensive Player of the Year and White the Offensive Player of the Year. The duo led Wooster to its first NCAC Tournament Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1996.

Wiley also was a key player on that team but shined in the upcoming years, earning Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2019 and 2021. In one of her defining moments, Wiley hit the game winner in double overtime to give Wooster its second straight NCAC Tournament Title as the Scots would later advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

Wiley is the only Scot to earn multiple Offensive Player of the Year honors. In her career, her 66 points is ninth in program history and her 25 goals are eighth.

White falls just below Wiley in career goals scored with 24. However, White exploded onto the scene in her senior season, and she holds the program single season record with 41 points and 18 goals.

White also owns the fastest goal to start a game in program history, scoring in just 11 seconds vs. Mount Saint Joseph University in 2018. She is also one of six Scots to have made the United Soccer Coaches All-America Team, being a third team selection in 2018.

Lawrence also was a first team selection in 2016. She was a central defender for the club in her four years, but more so in 2018 as the Scots gave up just 12 goals in 19 regular season games for a .60 goal against average.

23 total student athletes complete the women's soccer NCAC 40th Anniversary All-Decade Team.
