Lauber Named All-NCAC Honorable Mention

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Junior Elissa Lauber (Dover, Ohio/Dover) was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Honorable Mention Team for her efforts as an individual for The College of Wooster women's tennis team announced league officials on Monday. The all-conference award marks her second-consecutive spot as an honorable mention recipient.

Competing against some of the best singles players in the NCAA Div. III Central region, Lauber amassed a 7-10 overall record, and was a common threat to score points at the top of Wooster's lineup, serving as the No. 1 singles player in 17 of 19 matches.

During her first three seasons on the court for the Fighting Scots, Lauber has started at either No. 1 or No. 2 singles, and also in the No. 1 doubles slot in every match.

Lauber aided the Fighting Scots to a 6-16 record, and a seventh-place at the NCAC Tournament.
