CLEVELAND, Ohio - Junior Elissa Lauber (Dover, Ohio/Dover) was
named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Honorable Mention
Team for her efforts as an individual for The College of Wooster
women's tennis team announced league officials on Monday. The
all-conference award marks her second-consecutive spot as an
honorable mention recipient.
Competing against some of the best singles players in the NCAA Div.
III Central region, Lauber amassed a 7-10 overall record, and was a
common threat to score points at the top of Wooster's lineup,
serving as the No. 1 singles player in 17 of 19 matches.
During her first three seasons on the court for the Fighting Scots,
Lauber has started at either No. 1 or No. 2 singles, and also in
the No. 1 doubles slot in every match.
Lauber aided the Fighting Scots to a 6-16 record, and a
seventh-place at the NCAC Tournament.
