Lauber Makes Third Appearance on Women's Tennis All-NCAC Team

<a href= For the third-consecutive season, senior Elissa Lauber has been selected to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Team as a No. 1 singles player on The College of Wooster's women's tennis team. She garnered honorable mention status as announced by the league on Thursday.

Lauber, who spent most of her career at the No. 1 spot in Wooster's lineup, played some of the top competition across the NCAA Div. III Central Region in 2010 and her leadership helped guide a transitioning Scot group that boasts 11 underclassmen.

Following the team's 2-6 start to the season, Lauber helped get Wooster back on track in an 8-1 win over HeidelbergHeidelberg University with a 6-4, 6-1 win in singles action, and an 8-5 triumph at No. 1 doubles. Just three days later, she provided the Scots a moral victory in a tough loss to arch-rival WittenbergWittenberg University by notching a decisive 6-0, 6-3 win against the Tigers' No. 1.

Wooster also had the daunting task of battling nationally-ranked DenisonDenison University on two occasions, and Lauber hung with her opponent each time, taking three games in both matches.
