After winning a match 9-0 in its most recent outing, The College of Wooster women's tennis team found itself on the other side of that score, failing to garner a point in a match at regionally-ranked Kenyon College on Monday.

Despite the loss, Wooster (7-7, 0-2 North Coast Athletic Conference) had several notable results during the singles competition. At No. 1, Ashley Stockwell won three games against Prita Kidder, currently rated as the 20th-best player in the NCAA Div. III Central Region, before falling 6-1, 6-2. The Fighting Scots' Lauren Grimanis pushed her foe at No. 4 in the second set of a 6-0, 6-4 setback, and winning the most games was Lauren Gilliss with five at No. 6 (6-3, 6-2).

Wooster will look to bounce back on Wednesday at Ohio Wesleyan University (3-7, 0-3 NCAC).
