Fresh off a pair of 9-0 victories last weekend, The College of Wooster women's tennis team had the score flipped on it, as Kenyon College, No. 23 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings, topped the Fighting Scots 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Aspen Racquet Club in Wooster, Ohio.

During the match, sophomore Joy Li's remarkable winning streak at No. 1 singles came to an end at 16 matches. Li was topped by regionally-ranked Erika Oku 6-0, 6-0 in her first singles setback in dual play this year.

Kenyon (16-2, 2-0 North Coast Athletic Conference East Division) featured a pair of regionally-ranked singles players in its Wednesday lineup. First-year Sarah Duran squared off against Maggie Sweeney and fell 6-0, 6-1.

Wooster's top two doubles flights won a pair of games off of their respective Kenyon tandems. The two points Li and senior Morgan Wagers won off Sweeney and Grace Winslow were the first two give up by the Ladies tandem in league play this season.

Next, Wooster (14-3, 1-2 NCAC East Division) hosts Ohio Wesleyan University (9-4, 0-2 NCAC West Division) at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The match is part of the program's family weekend.
