Sophomore Sarah Duran was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Duran went a perfect 4-0 on Saturday in the team's only two matches of the week in a 9-0 win against Capital University and a 5-4 loss to Calvin College.

In her singles matchups at the No. 2 flight, Duran defeated Calvin's Madeline Brouwer 6-2, 6-3 and blanked Capital's Maria Sadek 6-0, 6-0.

She teamed with Laura Haley in both of her No. 2 doubles matches, capturing an 8-2 win over Capital and an 8-4 win over Calvin, which was Wooster's only doubles win against the Knights.

In dual play this season, Duran is 3-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles.

The women are 4-1 and are in Hilton Head, S.C. for a five-game spring break trip.
