Fueled by milestone victories from each of its three seniors, The College of Wooster women's tennis team swept aside Ohio Wesleyan University 9-0 on Sunday afternoon at Luttinger Family Tennis Center in Delaware, Ohio, in what could very well be the Fighting Scots' season finale.

Wooster, which picked up its first win of the season, got on the board first at No. 3 doubles. There, Sarah Duran won her 30th career doubles match, with the senior and sophomore Abby Kushner Benson blanking Erin McPherson and Alexis Yracheta 8-0. Next, first-year Otilia Oita and junior Emma Saxton turned away Shanzay Ali and Olivia Guenzel 8-1 at No. 2. Senior Laura Haley and first-year Kimberly Nguyen were last to clinch in doubles, doing so by an 8-5 line against Katie Lee and Ruthie Silberman. Of note, the win was Haley's 60th career victory between singles and doubles.

Nguyen clinched first in singles, blanking Olivia Guenzel 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4. Next, senior Kendra Devereux collected win No. 20 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Yracheta, and that point officially clinched the Scots' first win of the season.

Kushner Benson was the third Scot to win 6-0, 6-0 in singles, while Oita scored her first collegiate singles win with a pair of 6-2 sets against Lee. Haley turned away Silberman 6-3, 6-2, with that marking the senior's 30th career singles win. Duran, Wooster's all-time leader in wins at No. 2 singles, upped that number to 30 with a 6-7, 6-0, 1-0 (7) victory over Ali.

Wooster currently has no remaining matches on its schedule.
