Sophomore Janaki Jagannathan led The College of Wooster women's tennis team to a 7-2 win over John Carroll University on Saturday and earned North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts.

Jagannathan took a 6-3, 6-4 win in her No. 2 singles flight over Felicity Kolb. In addition, she started the outing by teaming with Otilia Oita in the No. 1 doubles flight to take a decisive 8-1 win.

This is Jagannathan's second time receiving the award and the first time this year.

The women are 2-1 so far this year and will next compete Friday when they host Otterbein University.
