A match clincher helped vault The College of Wooster's Janaki Jagannathan back into the spotlight, as the Fighting Scots' sophomore was selected as the North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the second time this spring.

Jagannathan clinched Thursday's 5-4 win over Washington College with a 7-6 (2), 6-3 victory at second singles. Jagannathan was 4-0 on the week with two wins at first doubles and two at second singles. The sophomore only dropped two games in a straight set win at No. 2 singles against Edgewood College. Jagannathan won 8-4 at first doubles against Edgewood and 8-5 against Washington College.

Jagannathan was previously the NCAC Athlete of the Week this year following 8-1 and 6-3, 6-4 wins over John Carroll University at first doubles and second singles, respectively.

Wooster (7-2) returned to action with a match against Milliken University (10-2) on Monday, March 20.
