Jagannathan Earns Fifth Career Athlete of the Week Honor
Jagannathan won both her matches versus Capital last week
Senior Janaki Jagannathan earned North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
It was a milestone for the senior, who has now collected the honor a total of five times.
Jagannathan won both her matches in the team's 5-2 loss to Capital University last week.
In doubles, she teamed with Elyse Errington in the No. 1 flight for come-from-behind 7-5 win.
Jagannathan had it a bit easier in her No. 1 singles match, taking a 6-0, 6-0 win.
Jagannathan kept climbing the Wooster ranks with her wins last week. It was her 54th singles win for sole possession of second all-time in program history.
Also, it was her 41st doubles win to tie for eighth in program history, and she is in a tie for fourth with 95 total wins.
Jagannathan and the Scots will be in action again March 3 when they host Otterbein University.
