Otterbein Takes Down Wooster

The College of Wooster women's tennis team hosted Otterbein University at Aspen Racquet Club on Monday, falling 7-0.

Senior Janaki Jagannathan played the best set amongst the Scots in a 6-3, 6-0 loss in the No. 1 flight to Erin Storrer.

No other Scot reached two games in a set.

First-year Elyse Errington at No. 2 and first-year Jade Adkins at No. 3 each fell 6-1, 6-1. First-year Kamila Kadirova at No. 4 and sophomore Mia Smith at No. 5 each lost 6-0, 6-0.

Lastly, junior Willow Hernishin took a 6-0, 6-1 loss at the No. 6 flight.

In doubles play, the No. 1 duo of Jagannathan and Errington as well as the No. 3 team of Hernishin and junior Sarah Mashaal lost 6-0. The No. 2 team of Adkins and Kadirova fell 6-1.

The women won't be in action again until spring break when they start the trip versus Agnes Scott College in Hilton Head, S.C. on March 17.
