Ohio Wesleyan University. The Scots swept all three sets by scores
of 25-14, 25-16, 25-14.
Junior KateLynn Riley produced another solid offensive performance,
leading the team with 15 kills and no errors on 25 attempts for a
.600 hitting percentage, while racking up five service aces, tying
her career-best she established one week ago against Oberlin.
Senior Abbie Casey also had a big night, tallying 13 kills with
just two errors on 23 attempts for a .478 hitting percentage, along
with freshman setter Lizzi Beal, who dished out 35 assists in the
straight-set victory.
Senior libero Ali Drushal led a balanced defensive effort for
Wooster against the Battling Bishops (5-14, 3-3 NCAC), as she
collected 14 digs. Senior Megan Earle racked up 12 digs, while
sophomore Abby Jensen finished with 11 digs, respectively.
The Scots (11-9, 5-2 NCAC) look to continue their winning ways this
Friday, as they play host to Hiram College (11-12, 6-2 NCAC) in a
key conference match with the Terriers inside Timken Gymnasium at 7
p.m.
