Hawke Leads Wooster to 3-0 Win at OWU

<a href= The College of Wooster volleyball team took down its second North Coast Athletic Conference opponent in as many days Saturday, as the Fighting Scots defeated Ohio Wesleyan University in straight sets (25-19, 25-19, 25-20) at Delaware, Ohio, to improve to 4-2 in the NCAC.

It didn't take long for Wooster (13-10, 4-2 NCAC) to find a rhythm, and several Scots recorded noteworthy contributions throughout the match. Sarah Hawke had an efficient afternoon, as the junior delivered eight kills and zero errors on 19 attempts (.421 hitting percentage). First-year Paige Parker was right behind Hawke, totaling seven kills and 15 digs, while Zoe Zwegat added to her team-leading block totals with six blocks (2 solo, 4 assists).

The Scots will look to pick up another NCAC win this week when they face Allegheny College (7-15, 3-4 NCAC) Wednesday at Meadville, Pa.
