WOOSTER, Ohio – In their second match of the afternoon, The College of Wooster volleyball team powered past Allegheny College by set scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-18 during the North Coast Athletic Conference Weekend at Timken Gymnasium.

The Scots (17-7, 7-4 NCAC) recorded a .300 hitting percentage in the match, their highest against an NCAC opponent this season, and the trio of Paige Parker, Melissa Morgan, and Erica Skillman were a big reason why.

Parker led the way with 12 kills (.417 hitting percentage), while Morgan added 11 kills (.370 hitting percentage), and Skillman had 10 kills on an impressive .600 hitting percentage.

Lizzi Beal dished out 29 assists, her second-highest output of the season, while fellow setter Autumn Berry chipped in another 13.

The Scots will look to carry their momentum into tomorrow's full day of NCAC action, when they host Denison University at 10 a.m. and Ohio Wesleyan University at 2 p.m.
