The College of Wooster volleyball team wrapped up the regular season on a high note by topping Oberlin College 3-1 in a North Coast Athletic Conference match-up Tuesday evening at Oberlin, Ohio.

With the win, the Scots (22-9, 11-5 NCAC) finish tied for third-place in the conference standings, but due to a tiebreaker, they will take the No. 4 seed in the NCAC Tournament. Wooster will visit No. 1 seed Wittenberg University (29-3, 16-0 NCAC) for a semifinal match this Friday at 5:30 p.m.

Wooster took down Oberlin (1-27, 1-15 NCAC) by set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-15, and 25-11. In the fourth and final set, the Scots recorded 12 kills and just one error on 32 swings (.344 hitting percentage).

The highlight of the night came courtesy of senior setter Lizzi Beal, who totaled three service aces, giving her 153 for her career and breaking the school's all-time record (Tammy Allen, 1983-85). She also added 33 assists, 16 digs, and five kills.

Others standing out on the stat sheet were Zoe Zwegat and Paige Parker with 10 kills apiece and Kelley Johnson with 16 digs and three service aces.
