Lights-Out Week by Billetdeaux Results in NCAC Honors
Senior hit. 537 with 49 kills
The College of Wooster's Katie Billetdeaux was unstoppable during a 4-0 week for the volleyball team, and on Monday, the North Coast Athletic Conference selected the senior middle as its NCAC Athlete of the Week.
Billetdeaux tied her career-high with 18 kills during a 3-1 win over Adrian College at the Battle at the Point on Friday. On Saturday, the senior finished three kills shy of matching that total again, as she had 15 during Wooster's 3-1 win over Trine University. Other Billetdeaux highlights from the Battle at the Point included an attack percentage of at least .476 in all three matches, 11 digs, seven blocks, and five aces.
On the week, Billetdeaux hit .537 with 49 kills on 80 swings with just six errors.
Wooster (7-2), winners of seven straight, is back in action on Friday, September 17 against Washington & Jefferson College (0-7) in the opening match of the Scots' Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic at 3:30 p.m.
