The College of Wooster volleyball team dropped its two final matches in the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic on Saturday.

They fell to John Carroll University in three sets 25-19, 28-26, 25-14. They then took Capital to four but also fell 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 25-19.

Between the two matches, Hayley Nash led the Scots with 18 kills. Tyara Thompson had 51 assists, and Sydney Fitzcharles recorded 30 digs.

Against Capital, Tamara Turner and Emily Gail each recorded 10 kills, joining Nash with double digit figures. Nash also was selected to the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic All-Tournament Team.

Wooster moves to 3-8 on the year. Next, they open North Coast Athletic Conference play with a trip to Wittenberg University next Saturday.
