Wooster Earns AVCA Team Academic Award

The College of Wooster volleyball team are recipients of the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 season. It is the 16th time in the last 18 seasons the Scots have earned the honor.

Recently, the team had nine who qualified for the spring 2024 semester AD Honor Roll and four who made the 2023-24 North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.

In addition, four individuals in Trinity Harmon, Troy Johnson, Amelia Mitchell and Ty Thompson earned spots on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team.

The AVCA Team Academic Award started following the 1992-93 academic year. Teams must have a GPA of at least 3.3 to qualify.
