Isabelle Hoover

Freshman Isabelle Hoover recently picked up her first North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week honors.

In Wooster's lone race last week, Hoover led the Scots to a win over Denison University. She ran a 20:42.5 in the 5,000 meter race at L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course.

The women defeated Denison 20-38 as the Scots took the first, second and third top individual spots.

The win marked the first time an institution had won both the men's and women's races in the now three-year history of the dual meet between the conference rivals.
