Cullen Kuhn scored three goals and Shaun Peirce added a couple as The College of Wooster men's lacrosse team fell 14-8 to Otterbein University on Friday.

Otterbein received four goals each from Drew McDonald and Robby Fields, while Xander Seal finished with three goals and six assists.
Wooster started off with the lead thanks to a goal from Ted Wells off an assist from Peirce. However, Otterbein scored the next six goals to take a 6-1 lead after one period of play.
The Scots cut the deficit in the second quarter to trail at halftime 8-3. Kuhn scored twice in the period with his first goal assisted by Drake Nickolaison. Nickolaison himself scored later with 5:38 left in the half off an assist from David Fitzgerald.
Wells returned the assist to Peirce to start the third as Peirce scored in a man-up opportunity. Adam Yeo then got on the board with 32 seconds left in the third period.
Otterbein extended a 10-6 lead with three goals to kick off the fourth period. Kuhn and Peirce got on the board again and Otterbein finished the scoring with 1:19 left in the quarter.
Wesley Wagner made six saves for the Scots.
Connor Mangan recorded 13 of Wooster's 36 ground balls. Wooster succeeded in 14-of-18 clears and won 17-of-26 face offs. Wooster outshot the Cardinals 37-31.
Wooster drops to 0-2, while Otterbein moves to 2-1.
The Scots travel to John Carroll University on Sunday.
