Michele Davison joined The College of Wooster’s softball staff as a volunteer assistant in 2024. Davison will work with the Fighting Scots’ pitchers.

The three-time All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference pitcher is reuniting with head coach Victoria Rumph. Davison was a graduate assistant at Youngstown State University during Rumph’s playing days. Davison has high school coaching experience at Wellington High School and Firelands High School.          

Upon graduation, Davison was Findlay’s all-time leader in games pitched (99), innings pitched (532), and ranked second in strikeouts (277). She still ranks in the top four in all categories. Davison pitched 153 1/3 innings as a senior, which at the time marked the third-most in single-season program history.

Professionally, Davison is a pelvic health physical therapist at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Medina and Oberlin. She earned a doctorate in physical therapy from University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences, a master’s in biology from Youngstown State, and a bachelor’s in education from Findlay.

Davison lives in Wellington with husband, Aaron, and children, Elliott, Kevin, Harvey, and Nolan.
