Has the potential to be one of the top pitchers in NCAA Div. III … Uses size and challenging arm angle as well as five different pitches – fastball, two breaking balls, slider curve, and change-up – to keep opposing hitters off-balance.
2015: Became the ace of the staff, and earned second-team all-region (ABCA) and first-team all-conference honors … Wooster won nine of the 10 games he started, as he went 8-1 with a 2.64 ERA and 49 strikeouts over 64.2 innings … League leader in ERA and wins while tying for first in strikeouts, and ranked third in innings and sixth in opponents’ batting average (.251) … Had a complete-game shutout of Hiram (April 18), part of a streak of 18.1 consecutive scoreless innings … Earned a spot on the All-NCAC Tournament Team after yielding two runs on two hits over 7.0 innings during a 12-3 win over Ohio Wesleyan (May 7) … Went career-best 7.1 innings vs. Wabash (May 2) during opener of NCAC Cross-Over Series … Struck out a career-high seven in six innings vs. UMass Boston (March 17).
