2015: Named to the All-NCAC Second Team after solidifying the pitching staff by coming out of the bullpen and almost always keeping Wooster ahead … Appeared in 24 games – tied for the third-most in team history – and went 5-1 with a 4.14 ERA while eating up 45.2 innings … 45 strikeouts were the fifth-best total in the league and the opposition hit just .282 … Started the championship game, and appeared in three games overall, at the NCAC Tournament (May 7-8), totaling 5.2 innings of work … Consecutive scoreless streak of 19.1 innings, which covered 11 appearances from April 11-26 … Went a career-best 6.0 innings during a start vs. Lancaster Bible (March 16) and struck out a career-high eight.
2014: Pitched 17 times – the third-most on the team – including two starts … Registered a 5.21 ERA over 19.0 innings and set down 15 on strikes … Entered two NCAC Tournament games (May 9-10), combining to give up one run during 1.2 innings … Started and went a season-high 4.0 innings during an eventual 9-4 win over John Carroll (April 22) … Also had a season-best four strikeouts in that outing.
2013: Pitched four games, highlighted by a 3.0-inning start against Heidelberg (May 1) … Struck out two of the three batters he faced during collegiate debut vs. Southern Vermont (March 20).
Prior to Wooster: Three-time all-league award winner, including second-team honors as a junior and senior, at Columbiana High School … Also excelled at soccer, earning all-district and all-county accolades … Lettered nine times with the Clippers, four apiece in baseball and soccer and once in basketball.
