Has the potential to be one of the top attackers in the conference and will “quarterback” the Scots’ offense.

2015: Continued to be one of the leaders offensively, finishing second on the team with 42 points … Scored 25 goals and passed out 17 assists … Also actively involved with 28 groundballs … Turned in a career-high seven points (3 goals, 4 assists) in win over Hiram (March 21) … Career-best four-goal outing came at Adrian (March 25) … Added third hat trick during an 18-15 win over Albion (April 14) … Gathered five groundballs at Oberlin (March 28).

2014: Made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning a spot on the starting attack line for 14 of 15 games and rating as team’s second-leading scorer with 31 points on 13 goals and 18 assists … Also collected 27 groundballs and four caused turnovers on the season … Registered a point in every game but two, with season-high six (2 goals, 4 assists) coming at Trine (March 19) … Also had a four-assist outing against DePauw (April 5), and scored a hat trick against Hiram (April 9).

Prior to Wooster: First-team all-state (Ohio High School Lacrosse Association, Div. I) as a junior when he recorded 32 goals and 74 assists at Jackson High School … Three-time all-region and four-year letterwinner with the Polar Bears … Also lettered in cross country and basketball.

Personal: Born Sept. 15, 1994 … Son of Jeff and Jen Herold, and younger brother of Wooster lacrosse alum Tom Herold … Majoring in business economics.
