    Wooster seniors Pat Grab and Jeremy Dominik were both named to the 2009 All-North Coast Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Team as singles players, with Grab earning second-team accolades and Dominik honorable mention.

    The Wooster men’s tennis team opened up the Great Lakes Colleges Association Tournament with back-to-back 5-0 losses to regionally-ranked opponents in Hope and Carnegie Mellon on Friday, but rebounded in its final match of the tournament with a 6-3 win over Albion College to end the weekend in Crawfordsville, Ind. with a 1-2 mark.

    The Wooster men’s tennis team’s perfect start to a season didn’t come to an end until its final match of the annual trip to Hilton Head, S.C. (March 11-20), when St. Lawrence University edged the Fighting Scots 6-3. Prior to that, Wooster had won its first eight matches, five coming in Hilton Head, which marks the program’s best start to a season this decade.
